‘I applied for a Customer Support role with CEWE back in 2008.  Throughout the recruitment process I was struck by how friendly everyone was, so I was really pleased when they offered me the job.  I spent 5 years working as a Customer Support Advisor and, during that time, I learned so much about CEWE’s products.  I also developed strong customer service skills and an in-depth knowledge of our photo ordering software.

In 2013 I felt ready for a new challenge and successfully applied for an internal role within the Sales Team.  I knew the skills and experience I’d gained in my previous position would stand me in good stead, and the training and support I received was excellent.  My role as Sales Support Coordinator requires me to have daily contact with people across the business, both in the UK and abroad.  I’ve visited our Head Office in Oldenburg on a number of occasions, which has further developed my understanding of the business and enabled me to make some useful contacts.

It might sound like a bit of a cliché, but CEWE is like one big family and I’ve made some fantastic friends here – friends I honestly believe I’ll have for life.  There’s an open culture; people’s differences are respected and celebrated, and their individual needs are catered for.  I recently became a dad and, thanks to the company’s enhanced paternity leave arrangements and generous holiday entitlement, I was able to take 4 weeks off to spend with my wife and baby, which was invaluable.’
